New Discussion Topic:INJURED
DURING COMPANY TIME.
Comments:Can someone please tell me were can I find the company policy were it says if you get hurt on company time in other words "Worker's Comp Injury " your are to be forced to use your vacation time due to this injury? This happed here at Lax Line to a co worker and were pretty concerned aboout this. No one here in management including the HCMP rep has answer or clarify this to him. We belive that it is not legal or correct to force someone to use his vacation time on a workers comp injury but stranger things we have seen here at FedEx the past few years. Can you Please Clarify?. |

When will we one day realize that these "circus clowns" will never stop taking away instead of giving back benefits in an attempt to show their appreciation for the employees?? Do they not know that happy/satisfied employees create a better product, leading to many new satisfied/happy customers, thus boosting their bottom line/profit!!
They will never learn, nor do they care about biblical teachings of "In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets". Matthew 7:12 New American Standard Bible
At the very least, if we get it in writing via a "contract" it makes it much harder for them to take it away....something the pilots learned long ago!
WE MUST DO THIS COME OCTOBER!!!!
Top 10 Q and A questions asked but never answered. Wonder why? Hmmm
I think these important questions need to be asked again.
1. Intl jumpseat. Why not?
2. Why the need for a three day "vetting period" for jumpseat?
3. Why no second half FPP when management is getting aic and six figure long term incentive (lti)!pay?
4. What really promoted the health care change? Are we a Cadillac plan?
Here you go:
1. They don't want to!
2. They don't want to!
3. They don't want to!
4. They wanted to in order to increase profits and screw the employees just a little bit more!
4b. If it penalizes us more, then YES!
Satisfied?
Everyone needs to get off their f'ing ass and work to get a say in your future. Right now you are being bought off with a good hourly rate. A strong future requires a solid pension, healthcare and accountable mgt - none of which you have now and it's only getting worse.
I will only be satisfied when the company cannot screw us whenever they feel like they need to appease Wall Street and drive the stock high and enrich themselves in the process.
Don't let Greg Hall fool you. We have a sub-standard benefits package that is getting worse every year. We are all getting played folks - time to stop it now!
