I want to thank FedEx for overlooking politics and showing me and Joe Galinis the respect of what we do here with the Purple wing award. I been busting their balls for so long on what we lost I have to say I was shocked to what they gave me, the purple wing award. I am very thankful to all my managers and Sr Managers and Directors who must have had to really talk some good smack and had big balls to bring up my name. I have to admit that for the committee who had to know who I was and what I was doing to overlook politics of this I am truly impressed (ask anyone it takes a lot to impress me) I just figured if I can knock them for what they take I can give them a pat on the back for what they overcome and forgive.
I hope they all understand I never did any of this to hurt this company, I only ever thought of the good it would do it allowing the Amt's to have it's own class and craft. This would not bring in a third party but show Amt's that they respect us as a professional group and allow us to pick our own representatives to air our grievances. This would in turn in my opinion would help to get morale back and reliability numbers back up where they historically always were..
congratulations to all the other winners of this award and awards past. I am humbled by it and know it is only because one guy decided to enter me. We all share the load of making this company great to keep our family's financially safe and sound. Thanks to everyone who showed even me that the biggest of company's can have a heart. Sensing a new awareness in many AMTs that someting needs to be done here to protect us and give us a seat at the table.
FedEx is making money hand over fist - big $$ to mgt (sky high bonuses, stock options, dividends), stockholders, buybacks and less and less to the employees each year to fund these lucrative actions.
Let's stop the bullshit now. The power of a contract is needed to protect what is left.
IF you need some incentive just look to the pilots who have the best pay and benefits in the world. Unlike us, they have a say in what the Company does to them and must negotiate any time the comoany tries to screw them.
Did everyone see the 500 pilots in front of Democrat yesterday. They get it and will reap the rewards.
Time for everyone here to get it!

It shouldn't be that hard/difficult to simply ask the guy next to you to look back just 5 years ago to remember what it was like then and compare it to where we are today!
Then if he doesn't believe things will not be drastically different 5 years into our future (guaranteed not to be even the same) be sure to tell him to go ahead and fill out his bankruptcy paperwork should he EVER try to use his medical benefits!!

Sent several in today. Lots of guys were clueless and had no idea this was going on. They were unaware of this site.
I found it very helpful to talk to guys and give the card and info directly to them.
Once they understood they were in.
Screw Greg Hall and his henchmen and the Company Execs - protect yourself and your family. They all have protection and have been raking it in while have been getting screwed.
Like them or not - they and the company execs are all continuing to execute agendas which will continue to debase our benefits and any quality of life left in this place,
Contract protection critical.
What are the excuses people are giving as to "why" they have no desire of wanting a "Class and Craft" designation? Or are they under the belief that what the pilots have is all evil and going to completely destroy FedEx financially?
I'm starting to believe that it is because they have been in an abusive relationship most of their life, and how this management desires to treat the employees, is a normal part of life to get treated like garbage versus a human being........... deserving of respect and dignity?
For God's sake, please help me understand that logic.......... SOMEBODY!!!!!!
I had a meeting here in Indy and was amazed at the number of techs who did not understand what this was all about.
A few of us explained the situation and guys caught on real quick. We also had a UPS tech stop by to discuss their contract and our guys were blown away at their health care, pension, sick pay and jump seating options to name just a few. Many of our guys started to add up the stuff we have lost and became visibly ill.
The UPS tech told our folks we needed to "get into the game." Sounds pretty obvious don't know what the hell some of our fence sitters are waiting for.
Please spend some time and help educate any techs you know out there.
Cards are moving again. Please educate a peer who may not be aware of this effort.

Look back 9 years, that's when Greg Hall started with FedEx. The changes have been shocking! The changes are still coming, until we decided to stand up for our selfs.
