My last day in Avionics shop I leave you with this

UNITED WE BARGAIN DIVIDED WE BEG

what we to look forward to.

Today is my last day in the Avionics shop and will be packing up my family and move to Nashville. I will be checking in but I have an awful lot to do and Randy is on top of everything. I hope I am making the right move (my dad use to always say you know what you got, you don't know what your going to get) but I am looking forward to working with my new fellow AMT's and getting back on the jet's. I hope everyone will keep talking to those who can not see the light of the cost cutting that is coming our way. They have a plan and we are in it but not in our best interest. When things get settled you will hear back from me but for now Please keep this going, I'm sorry I was not able to get you where we needed to be but even by now those who did not believe we at least need our own class and craft will have to face reality. Bills get bigger and with benefits getting smaller it will effect us all.  Thanks for everything all of you

Your efforts are to be applauded! Thanks to this movement, we have received healthy increases when others have received nothing.

Folks are starting to take note that a contract is needed to prevent the further erosion of what we have left. We will all get this done!

Best of luck in the music city!

I second that. Just the threat of actually organizing our group has led the company to do things for us it would never do for other employees.

We must get this done now. Many of us have screwed around too long to wait on the other guy to do something.

My manager asked me today if guys were really still sending in cards. I told him to fuck off. He got the point.

Let me see.........we got a 3% raise at the beginning of the month and now Mr. Hall has stated that they are working on restoring International Jumpseat Travel! I guess now what they want from us, is to crawl back into our dungeon, shut the fuck up, do your job and be the slaves we were designed to be? FedEx A/C Mx worklife must be peachy!

Hey this is Tom I am sorry that Randy has not contacted you. I have been busy with moving and getting all my schools and badges up here in BNA. I tried to get back to everyone as questions are asked but I left this all to Randy Sherwood. You can contact him also at his email chiefsherwood@aol.com if you want. I know he won't give a number on here since it is being watched but if he does not answer your email contact me at tducksoup1@yahoo.com. I can only hope he has been busy. Tom Perusi

For those of you that don't know, FED-EX Freight has numerous locations were the driver's have petitioned the labor board for the right to have a union vote. Approximately 12 have been approved. Two have had their vote and are now teamsters with more to follow. You can follow the movement by going to " Bring the Teamsters to Fed EX Freight" on Face Book.

This is an history making moment! As we all know FedEx's stance on unions. I never was an advocate unions as long as companies treat their employee's fair. We all have seen one concession after the other due to no other fact than greed.

If for no other reason than to put the company on notice, that we are no longer going to tolerate the takeaways while record profits are being reported we should at least file a petition with the labor board, this does not mean we will have a union, but it does give us the opportunity to vote for one if we so chose!

Thanks, Tom. Glad to see you are getting settled and are still on board with this movement. Management in Memphis is telling folks that you have given up on this and plan to "go peacefully" into retirement after a couple of years of years in Nashville.

Yes, several of us have been watching the various IBT campaigns here in the Jersey area. They won another big one Friday night in Brunswick and are poised to win many more from what we are hearing, including Newark. As you probably know, one of the main issues over at Freight is our piss poor health plan.

There is a very strong contingent of us in the northeast that are on board with this effort. Would love to move this forward before some of the 2015 surprises begin to start launching as a part of Fred's grand plan to wring out $1.7 billion out of Express.
