UNITED WE BARGAIN DIVIDED WE BEG
This will be great news for the pilots who will get to use this information to hold on to all benefits and ask for more while we don't even get a payout on front line pay. Funny how all is sunshine to the shareholders yet nothing but grim for us. They brag on the doubling of share price yet we are working with old and worn out tools and expected to do our job's correctly. My shop has not seen any new equipment to run the 757's or 767's and it was never put into any plans when buying the aircraft. I am very happy for the company as a whole but hey guy's what about us the guy's who work day and night in heat and cold who if we get hurt or sick only have 40 hours of sick pay. Mr Smith is a great leader and maybe he does not know what is going on at our level but if they expect reliability to go up we need to be part of this success! S&P up 19% Dow Jones up 31% FedEx stock up 50%. I hope you all take the time and read the article and know that the only group who has negotiating power will be rewarded for the great years we have also fought hard to make come to fruition.
HERE IT IS PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND WHERE WE ARE IN THIS PRETTY PICTURE.

Tom : A great example of how this company cries poor to its employees and then trumpets superior returns. Do they think we are that stupid?
The gutting of our healthcare care plan this year while drastically increasing premiums had very little to do with Obamacare and everything to do with saving the company lots and lots of money, improving profit per share and pumping up the bottom line so that upper management can bask in the glow of publications like this. Basically enriching upper management off of our backs is what this is all about.
Upper management long term incentive bonuses, rich stock options and grants over the last three years have all been fueled off of our backs. Think of what you have lost just in the last few years so that upper mgt can reap the benefits: MAP pay, decent health insurance, a real pension just to name a few - and biggies they are which reap big bucks for the company every year.
This type of stuff pisses me off to no end. Sad so many of our own are blind to what is happening to them.
More is on the way with increased health premiums, and watered down coverage.
Stand up and send in a card so that we can have so say in our futures . The pilots are doing just that right now as they negotiate a new agreement. When it's done, they will continue to enjoy what they have right now,

I was discussing with a buddy how imperative it is that all of the AMT's must stick together if we are to ever achieve success with this drive. He made a comment that is sadly far too true in response to the reality. He said, "Are you kidding me, we couldn't stick together when it counts, if a huge bucket of super glue was dumped on all 2400+ and we immediately had a group hug"!
I believe our entire management regime KNOWS this because they have sat back for 8+ years and watched our organizing efforts basically go nowhere.......all the while, they methodically ROBBED us of benefits, respect and ever changing work rules!!
If this medical insurance benefit, ALONE, (if you can even call it that any more) isn't enough to BITCH SLAP into waking the fuck up.......we are already DEAD but haven't had the decency to go ahead and climb in the casket to be buried alive.
What exactly will be the last straw that will unite us enough to get this done?? I sure hope we can find SOMETHING to unite us by October 1st!!
Everyone needs to dial in- don't know what is more serious than your ability to fund a decent retirement, provide affordable healthcare to you and your family, and take paid medical leave.
Right now, many of you told me last night that you are forgoing medical care because of the new plan's punitive design and high costs.
These are just three areas where you and your family have been screwed royally!!
Indy meeting last night well attended. Need to keep talking to everyone.
