THE ANSWER IS NO BUT BECAUSE THEY FALL UNDER THE NATIONAL LABOR BOARD THEY CAN COLLECT CARDS LOCALLY WHICH GIVE THEM A BIG EDGE. WE HAVE TO DO IT NATIONALLY AND WHEN THE POST OFFICE SCREWS US ALSO SENDING BACK SO MANY CARDS THAT WHERE ADDRESSED TO THE FEDEX AMT ASSOCIATION. I HAVE TRIED TO GET BACK TO ALL OF YOU I HEARD FROM TO SEND THEM AGAIN THAT THE PROBLEM IS FIXED. HERE IS AN ARTICLE ON THE FEDEX FREIGHT DRIVERS THEY WILL SOON HAVE POWER TO NEGOTIATE.

AMTs at each of the big locations need to get guys together after work, on breaks, at a restaurant or gather at a fellow amt's house. We had a great gathering / cookout at an amt's home here in Indy recently and had some great discussion about the need to be our own craft and class. Many new guys started to get it and are on board.
Coordination locally and communication everywhere is how we are going to get to 1250.
Wish and Hope the Teamster work as hard to help us as they are with the Fedex truckers.
Let's keep spreading them word to all of our peers - this must get done.
Got 3 cards going in the mail tomorrow from my shack here in MEM. Guys are getting fed up.
Ditto here in Indy - folks starting to figure out the healthcare stink bomb - more accessible cards in break rooms helping.

Comments:$500 Emergency Room Co-pay?? In ADDITION to deductibles and other fees. This seems absolutely ridiculous compared to other's plans. Does FedEx have any control over this? Can FedEx challenge this? Sorry, I am obviously reading throught the benefit changes for 2015. Please tell me that FedEx is looking into this and plans to go to bat for its employees by getting us a plan that is semi affordable. Its getting to the point where I would have to take out a loan to take my daughter to the Dr. Sincerely:
Yep, our peers over at UPS don't have those problems with their health plan. They have a contract which has protected their plan from corporate strip downs.
If this isn't enough to sign a card, I don't know what the hell is!!!!!
