I DON'T WANT TO CLUTTER UP THIS SITE WITH TOO MUCH INFO ANYMORE.

UNITED WE BARGAIN DIVIDED WE BEG

I WILL TELL WHAT KIND OF INPUT AND HOW IT IS GOING BY THE COMMENTS COMING IN. I CAN POST AND POST TILL I AM BLUE IN THE FACE. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO TELL ANYONE WHAT WE HAVE LOST AND HOW MUCH FEDEX HAS MADE AND IT GOES TO THE CREAM OF THE CROP AND THE SHAREHOLDERS. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO LIST ALL THE STUFF WE LOST BECAUSE I SIMPLY HAVE A LIFE AND IT WOULD TAKE TO DAMN LONG.
THE FACT IS JUST KEEP THE WORD SPREADING THAT THIS IS NOT UNION THIS IS CLASS AND CRAFT AND UNLESS THAT GETS DONE THE NEXT TIME A GUY BITCHES BY YOU AND IF PEOPLE TURN TO THEM AND SAY DID YOU SIGN A CARD? IF NO THEN SAY SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BITCH. YOU HAVE SEEN HOW LONG WITHOUT ANY CHANGE WHAT GOES ON, WHAT DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO LOSE TRYING SOMETHING DIFFERENT. ONCE CLASS AND CRAFT IS DESIGNATED WE CAN COME UP WITH OUR OWN COLLECTIVE AS A START. IF THEY DON'T RESPECT THAT THEN THEY KNOW YOU COULD BRING IN A THIRD BARGAINING PARTY. I UNDERSTAND THAT IS VERY CONFLICTING BUT WITHOUT CLASS AND CRAFT WE HAVE NO CHANCE AT ALL.

Tom,

I believe it's time for you to realize there's nothing more you should have to interject into this drive regarding info that "might open any more eyes"!

The company seems to go out of their way almost daily to do a good job of that already! If our brothers and sisters can't see the reality now............we have lost all hope and should accept our plight of a doomed quest to obtain the respect of "class and craft designation".

Sadly you stated that the outstations did a respectable job of returning cards, and our main two stations (MEM & IND) was poorly represented? I believe that is because the outstations see first hand the ultimate direction of the company agenda, VENDORS!!!

You've previously stated all you need to do is look down in Florida and see that being orchestrated every time another AMT leaves! DICTATE/DEMAND more with less, until nobody is left.

You have seen small numbers of recent postings in certain stations immediately upon losing someone (GSP, BOS, ELP) to name a few. FL has lost probably 6-8 or more over the past 2-3 years.....and ONE posting?

Then you throw in the issues currently going on in MEM with all the downed aircraft for cracks and loose rivets, causing all the threats, OLCC's etc and you wonder how much more will they continue to allow......?

Enough said........as it seems to simply fall on deaf ears with nothing changing in the form of signed cards!!

WHY kill yourself for people that refuse to help themselves.....it's NOT WORTH IT!!

In case you fence sitters have forgotten, look at this current list of some of their biggest screwings to date. Remember, UPS Amts do not have these issues and nor do our very own pilots.

1. Gutting of our healthcare care while increasing premiums. Had nothing to do with Obamacare and everything to do with saving the company lots of money and improving profit per share. Basically enriching upper management off of our backs. This is a big dot deal that will cost most of us dearly going forward.

2. MAP takeaway - biggie for many of us.

3. International Jump seat and 3 day vetting - they have been screwing with us on this for many, many, months. Not a problem at UPS of for our pilots.

4. Pension takeaway - company spouted that the Pension Protection Act made it impossible to keep our old defined benefit pension plan. It's funny how our after seven years, our very own pilots and UPS amts have managed too keep theirs. Gotta love the bs the company peddles us.

5. Outsourcing - it's happening. Just look around.

6. Six to Nine year "B scale" for anyone hired in off the street.

If we had had a contract in place, every one of these items would have had to been negotiated before the company could have even attempted to take them away from us!!

You are so right that they are trying to squeeze blood from a tomato. What we do out there is serious damn work and peoples lives depend on us doing right. We are shorthanded all over and those calling all the shots have no idea what we really do. I wish they would come out of that golden air conditioned crystal palace and see what it is like to sweat in the summer and freeze in the winter is like. I just wish these other amt's would wake up and just get this done. We already know what happens without any kind of unity why don't they just grow a set and say lets see how this works. I can see this is not about a union drive anymore it is about respect and what they really think of us. I hope I can get others to just open their eyes and say what have we got to lose.

To both of the previous posters - you are both spot on!

Everyone who frequents this site - and there are a lot of us even when you don't count management and company lawyers - must begin to get the word out about the new card.

This is very achievable! My management team told me we are idiots if we don't get a contract like the pilots.

FedEx Express must reduce $1.7 billion dollars in costs in the coming months to keep its stock high - they gutted our health plan this year and more cuts and process "improvements" to lean out the way do business are on the way. Trust me.

I feel I must admit I made a huge mistake on the first post and that I need to apologize regarding the number of AMT's that FL has lost!

After going back and researching the sr. list of people leaving job family 1, I discovered I was way off..........and it is far worse than noted.

As of 4/30/09 through 7/23/14 (when yet another fine individual will retire next week in TPA) there has been "18" leave from FL, either from one that bid out earlier this year (RSW) to the rest that have retired or died!!

Then there is another person calling it quits in October from TPA bringing the total to "19"......with either 1 or 2 job postings out of those losses for the FL region......???

So you tell me what that indicates of their intentions of the future..............and I'll tell you, they are creating a HUGE LIABILITY on the life expectancy when they work those guys down there to DEATH!!!

THANK GOD I don't have to put up with the BULL SHIT being perpetrated on them down there!!!

I honestly can't believe Mr. Smith would approve blantantly treating employees in this manner......obviously he's changed his philosophy of what PSP stands for?

Anyone heard anything about our FPP? There was a post recently on the amt electronic bb but there has been no answer.
